Eve cosplay, full body by Kapalaka Eve cosplay, full body by Kapalaka
Taken by my friend, HoodedWoman at AFO 2008. Edited in photoshop by myself.

Sucks I cant like... send out whoever sees these pictures one of those "Play-a-sound" greeting cards. A big part of this costume was the music blaring from underneath the dress!

I hooked up an iPod speaker and amplifier system down there so I could play my theme song everywhere I went.

Thanks! I just used fabric as a base and painted it over with a 3d admixture. :) It made the paint stand up.

Thank youuu! ^_^ So what cons do you go to? Anything in the US? It'd be awesome if we could maybe plan a cosplay together! I'll eventually do Griselda once my Gwen armor needs a paint job

I actually went to my first US con last month, Youmacon. SO not far from home but I believe I'm being roped in to going to Otakon next year with friends.

Awesome! :D My boyfriend and I were actually trying to make Otakon this year, haha. I hope we get to meet up! X3 What are your cosplay plans looking like next year? I'm doing a bunch of stuff like Muramasa, more Parasite Eve cosplays, Dorothy from Big O, etc. Maybe we could plan something together? Even a Gwen x Gwen shoot would be fun!

And you're a pro make-up artist? That is so cool! Do you have any of your work or designs online?

Um at the moment a lot is up in the air cosplay wise but for sure I know Belle from beauty and the beast, Zelphie from magna carta 2, Elizabeth from Pirates with a groups of friends for otakon actually, and I think battlesuit Jill from resident evil 5. That's my plans so far but they change a lot and I usually end up making more than I anticipate, I like sewing far to much. Oh a Gwen shoot would be amazing, I've always wanted to make her gown, my Gwen battle outfit got destroyed sitting in a hot car and I can't bring myself to re do it all. I've also always wanted to make mercedes or velvet too soo many options!

Most of my pro makeup stuff is on here, I graduated school this year so not a whole lot of fancy stuff, turns out most people prefer looking pretty as opposed to creepy lol.

OMG a group of my friends and I recently finished Beauty and the Beast cosplays. We made Gaston's groupies and Gaston. XD Our third girl wasn't able to make it though. Let me know if you finish Belle and I'll pack this! [link] [link]

Gwen's gown is SO comfortable, it's definitely nicer to wear than the armor. Plus if you are carrying lots of stuff you can hide it under your dress for pictures! I know the feeling of wanting to make all the women from Odin Sphere, they are all so pretty and great characters. I'd definitely like to see you do Velvet! I have my eye on Odette and Elfaria, maybe Velvet, but it's more of my boyfriend asking me to do her for obvious reasons. I told him I'd do it if he made Cornelius' human form.

Congrats on graduating! I wish I was that far, I just started architecture school and it is torture. I have pulled an all nighter once a week just to finish projects. =/ I am dying to make new costumes but I just don't have the time right now. Have you been able to find work easily?

Oh I plan to have Belle done in May for a convention, a few friends and I are hopefully going to have a princess group yay! lol Those costumes are amazing! I love beauty and the best so much those are perfect.

The one thing that's holding me back from Velvet is I feel like I'm not tall enough being 5'3*most stupid reason ever* I guess I feel it suits taller girls better. Ooo and Odette costume would be lovely, I always love seeing that done because it's always so epic looking. and elfaria I don't think I've ever seen that before.

My schooling was really quick so it's a bit overwhelming that I'm done and need to be professional now. Work is out there but 90% is volunteer or pays very little, a lot of it is building your name and your portfolio so free lance isn't really cutting it for me at the moment lol. I guess I was lucky that I never had projects worth an all nighter. I think I have a friend in architecture...I'm pretty sure. And when she told me about the projects she has to do I can't even imagine so I commend you.

Thank you! They were definitely a lot of fun to wear. What version of Belle are you making?

Haha, that's actually the exact reason why I'm not doing Mercedes. I'm 5'8." =/ It'd be interesting if you did Velvet and I designed something for Velvet's mom... something to work with our heights, idk. Or you be Mercedes and I do Elfaria...

It's rough, that's for sure. Fortunately Kevin is very understanding so I never have to explain myself. Architecture is no different from what you are experiencing after you graduate. =/ You're very lucky if you even get to intern for a firm, but a lot of it is self-promotion and networking. What kind of work are you looking to do?

I have to say it again, this is the BEST COSTUME I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE! Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a Parasite Eve fan for quite some time and I've always dreamed of seeing an Eve costume. I just can't believe I decided to look up pictures today and stumbled across your beautiful cosplay. I actually used to run a PE website called PEHQ, but it died several years ago. I must inform my gang of PE buddies of your beautiful work!!!!

XD Omg thank you so much for all the awesome compliments! I am very flattered, thank you!

Eve has always been my favorite villainess, and PE my favorite video game. I am not sure what other costumes from the game I am willing to throw money at, but I will definitely at least make a Melissa Pearce. I was considering doing Liberate Aya for a while but oy. After Eve, I've had my fill of body paint for a good while.

I was actually looking for a PE fan-site to join, such a shame that your site went under, though. D: Truly a great game that deserves more recognition. Now if only they'd release 3rd b-day on the PSP already...

Oh yea, lots!
[link] Riful of the West from Claymore pops up first since you look like her. Great manga if you haven't checked it out. The anime is good, but they did one of those crappy "OMG WE NEED TO END THIS NAO!" endings. =/ The manga is still ongoing, tho! She also had a super-villainess-form.

[link] Anastasia, from Anastasia. XD I'm sure you've seen the movie.

[link] Euphemia, from Code Geass. Everyone's favorite princess.

[link] [link] Gwendolyn or Mercedes, from Odin Sphere. My new favorite video game.

If you don't like any of those, I can suggest more later, but I gotta go to school. =) ttyl!

Haha, me too. I was obsessed enough to make that ridiculous costume. I couldn't move or pick anything up, and it took about two hours to hand paint myself, but I loved wearing it.

Next time though, I'll definitely use an airbrush. @_@

*high fives* PE 4 lyfe!!!!!

Nah, the fingers don't bend. If I ever redo this costume, I'll do that next and add stilts to the leg thing. I just tried to craft the hands in an action pose so they looked convincing in photos. ^_~
