I could give you some tips on specifics, sure! If you pretty much need a step-by-step guide, though, you should check out the Livejournal community "Corsetmakers." They have tons of resources I poured over when I was looking to get into corsetry and without it, I don't think I'd be as skilled as I am now.

Floof floof floof! XD I got a wedding crinoline from eBay! It was so cheap, a mere $20 from angelsbridal. Thank you for noticing the construction on this costume.

It was the first steel-boned corset I ever made.
